# Step-by-Step

Launching a cultcoin on Cults.fun is permissionless. If you have a coin idea, you can turn it into a cult.

You can launch under your real identity or stay completely anonymous. Want your face on it? Become a Cult Leader. Want to stay in the shadows? Use a burner and let the meme speak for itself.\
Ownership is optional. Influence is not.<br>

## **Step 1: Add Image**

All you need is a great image to start your Cult. The best coin images are easily remixable, so we recommend unique characters or simple objects. Recommended 1000x1000 square jpg/png.

## **Step 2: Add Coin Info**

Once you've uploaded your image, our AI automatically suggests a Name + Ticker for you. Edit it as needed, add an optional website and description.

Initial Buy Amount (aka Dev Buy) — Since this is the final screen before your coin is created and open for anyone to buy, you should decide how much you want to own of your own coin. There is no right answer, some devs choose to buy 0 and some choose to own 1-5% of the supply.

## **Step 3: Share Coin**

Your coin is now instantly tradable. It is on a bonding curve until it graduates. Learn more about that in Launchpad Details.

Now you should click the "Share on X" button to share this with your followers. The share link will have everything in it to create a Cult Leader tweet (CA + tagging @cultsdotfun). When people reply, they will get their pfp remixed into your new cultcoin.

# Creator Fees

1. Log into your account at cults.fun using the wallet associated with the coin's creation.
2. Click the menu in the top right corner to view the coins you've created.

# Cult Leaders

Anyone can launch a Cult Leader tweet, even if it’s not their coin. You don’t have to be the deployer or even own any. If you spot a cultcoin with potential, you can drive the movement.

## 2. Get Pre-filled Tweet Link

The share tweet to become a Cult Leader is prefilled for you. We make it easy by including the coin image as a pic.twitter.com link too. It will render as a normal image when you post.\

The only two pieces that are required are:\
(1) the contract address of the coin and (2) @cultsdotfun \
\
You can change the reply request to whatever you'd like. By default it's the $TICKER but you can adjust it to be on-theme for the cult. If your coin is named $DEVIL, you can make people reply HAIL SATAN.

## 3. Post to 𝕏

Your Cult Leader post is now live. When people reply, they will get their 𝕏 pfp remixed into the image of your cultcoin and help spread the meme. Each reply = a member initiated and will help you climb the leaderboard.

## 4. Climb The Leaderboard

Every cultcoin page has it's own leaderboard. These are the people who have started a new post on 𝕏 and have initiated new members by gathering replies to spread the meme.&#x20;

## 1.  Find a Cult Leader Thread

Go on any cultcoin page and view the Leaderboard. Click on any of the existing leaders to be taken to a twitter thread you can reply to. Or you can become a [Cult Leader](/share/cult-leaders) yourself.

## 2. Reply to a Cult Leader tweet

An active Cult Leader tweet has both a CA (contract address) and tags @cultsdotfun. In the below example, replying with "I believe" will intiate you and remix your avatar into the meme.

## 3. Get Initiated

After a few minutes, the cults bot will reply to you with your personalized avatar, remixed using AI into the original meme. You are welcome to download this, share it, RT and use it as your pfp.

Your avatar will also show up on the Cult Coin page listing all initiated members. Your reply also moves the Cult Leader up the leaderboard.
